The line has dropped as low as 23 in some places indicating that the early smart money is on the underdog Bears. With the public all over favorites and the popularity of betting on televised games, expect this number to go over 24 before kickoff.
Friday Night College Football: Boise State vs. Fresno State
The Boise State Broncos are one of college football's most popular teams. They are always in the hunt for the National Championship. If they want to get that this year they will have to stay undefeated. That would mean a win at Fresno. The Broncos opened as 20 point favorites and as expected that number was pushed up to 21 in most every outlet. This is a sign that the public is pounding the Broncos again.
Oklahoma Sooners vs. Texas Longhorns
Will this be the last year of the Red River Rivalry? It might as both of these teams could be changing conferences. The Sooners are the better team on paper and for that reason they opened up as nine point favorites. The Sooners are a top ranked team and that always brings in public action. The Sooners are taking in 65% of the public money and for that reason this line has jumped up to ten in many of the top ranked sportsbooks.
Getting a jump start on the week by looking at the odds early will give an advantage when betting on the game.
