BetUS Posts Odds on all Things SAG StrikeJust as Hollywood was getting back on its feet after the writer's strike, the threat of a work stoppage by actors has studios and the entertainment industry in a fit. Studios are putting a hold on production starts for feature movies and TV pilots amid news that the Screen Actors Guild will call a strike immediately after the June 30 expiration date of the current labor deal. For example, movies like "Transformers 2," have a built-in hiatus next month; the next batch of features, including "2012," "Prince of Persia" and "Nottingham," won't start until late summer as a precaution.
So how will all of this play out? Fans of Hollywood find it as gripping as an Alfred Hitchcock thriller and are desperately looking for answers. This being the case, BetUS posted odds on all things Hollywood Strike. Come to think of it, sounds like the title of a movie...
"Our site has seen an enormous amount of traffic and dollars wagered on the heels of the news surrounding the possible SAG strike," stated BetUS spokesman Reed Richards.
