Alabama and Auburn meet up this week in the Iron Bowl, one of the biggest rivalries in college football. Chants of “War Eagle” and “Roll Tide” will fill the air as both these teams prepare to face off in a game that could have National Title implications.

The college football odds for this game opened with Alabama as 21 point favorites, and now it can be found as low as 20 points at some online sportsbooks. The number was bet down by the public as 51% of the sports betting public is backing Auburn in this game.
With the recent events that have unfolded in college football over the last few weeks, Alabama knows that a win in this game would basically solidify an appearance in the National title game. Auburn fans would love to be the team that knocks Alabama out of the championship game.
For Alabama the player to watch will be running back Trent Richardson as he should be able to improve his Heisman chances with a big game against a suspect Auburn defense. Auburn will counter with their own superstar running back in Michael Dyer, but the true problem for the Tigers is the defense. Auburn is ranked 81st in total defense and it will be exploited by Alabama. The Tide has an NFL caliber defense that will flex in this game and dominate the opposition.
