Friday night is a great night to bet on the NBA as it is always filled with great games and a fun way to start the weekend. Here is a look at two great games for Friday night in the Association.
Portland vs. Toronto
The Portland Trail Blazers are officially in a slide. They enter Friday night against the Raptors as losers of the last six games. They came from behind to tie up the game against Atlanta but ran out of steam down the stretch. Luckily they get a trip to Toronto to take on the Raptors who could be without their leading scorer and they have lost six straight games.
The Raptors are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and play up to the talent level of their opposition. The Trail Blazers are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 road games and struggling.
Although the Raptors are playing poorly they get the nod with increased value playing at home with the points. Right now the Blazers should not be favored over anyone.

Atlanta vs. Philadelphia
The Hawks are winning ball games but will struggle in this game against the Sixers. The Sixers are having a good year and are off a disappointing loss against the Nuggets. The Hawks played well in the last outing without Al Horford but that will catch up with them in this outing.
The betting public jumped on the Hawks when this number was released as 84 percent of the early betting public is on the Birds. The Hawks hate playing on Fridays and are 8-20 ATS in their last 28 Friday games. They also struggle against Philly as they are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings.
Guard Jrue Holiday leads a surprising Sixers team that can compete in the eastern conference. The 76ers are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 vs. Eastern Conference, 33-16-2 ATS in their last 51 games playing on 1 days rest and 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games overall.
The Sixers cover the number and blow out the Hawks in this game.
