NFL Odds Week Two 2011: Philadelphia Eagles Small Road Favorites in Atlanta The NFL Odds for week two have been released and the football betting windows are open. Before the NFL picks for week two can be made the first thing that has to be investigated is the line for each game. This includes looking at initial football steam moves, public consensus, and finding that stinky line that just doesn't seem to make sense.

Here is a look at the opening lines with line movement for week two in the NFL.

New Orleans Saints (-7) Over the Chicago Bears—this line opened at 6.5 and was bet up to seven. The line is not surprising as the public loves the Saints, but the Bears great showing in week one was ignored by oddsmakers.

Detroit Lions (-8.5) Over Kansas City Chiefs—shop around for this line as it varies from 7.5 to 9 points depending on what team you were on. This inflated line is a direct reflection of how poorly the Chiefs played in week one.

New York Jets (-10) Over Jacksonville Jaguars—This line has stayed steady at 10, which is about right with the Jags trying to win with a sub-par football team. Jets are on a short week heading into this game but this line would seemingly only go up.

Buffalo Bills (-3.5) Over Oakland Raiders—The Bills stunning outcome in KC is enough to make them home favorites. Oakland is off a short week and going coast-to-coast so it's doubtful this falls under the key number of three.

Washington Redskins (-4) over Arizona Cardinals-With an impressive win over the NY Giants, it was enough to open the Skins as 4.5 point favorites. That number was steamed down to four points with the high-octane Cardinals coming to town.

Baltimore Ravens (-6) over Tennessee Titans—this line could have been higher with the way the Ravens crushed the Steelers in week one, but the oddsmakers settled on six. This line dropped to 5.5 in some places and with the Titans at home this number should stay in check.

Pittsburgh Steelers (-14.5) over Seattle Seahawks-the Steelers look to take out a tough loss on week one on the hapless Seahawks. This line opened at 13.5 and had no problem jumping over the key number, resting at 14.5. Steelers are very popular and no one trusts the birds, this line will climb all week.

Green Bay Packers (-10) over Carolina Panthers—The Packers are well rested and looking like one of the best teams in the league. This line opened at 10 and has been bet down at certain sportsbooks as the money is coming in on Newton after his great outing.

Minnesota Vikings (-3) Over Tampa Bay Buccaneers-both teams are struggling to start the season so the edge is to the home field and the three points. This line has stood still since it opened with no action either way.

Stinky Line Of the Week: Cleveland Browns (-1.5) over Indianapolis Colts—Granted the Browns lost in week one to the Bengals, but the Colts were crushed and everyone is selling out the Colts without Peyton Manning. The Browns basically just have to win as a short road chalk and that makes this line stinky.

Dallas Cowboys (-3) over San Francisco 49ers-This may have qualified as the Stinky Line of the week since the Cowboys are only three point favorites. 98% of the betting money is coming in on the Cowboys and like clockwork the smart money is on the 49ers.

Houston Texans (-3) over Miami Dolphins-The Texans started the season off with a bang, but that was against a rival and at home. Now facing Miami on a short week they get to be the favorites. It is surprising to see that 92% of the Sports Betting money is coming in on the Texans.

New England Patriots (-7) over San Diego Chargers- The Patriots are a public team and after how Tom Brady looked on Monday Night Football it is no surprise that the Pats are the public pick. The line opened at 6.5 and has been bet up to seven already. That line move was due to steam as the sharps got on the home team before it hit seven.

Cincinnati Bengals at Denver Broncos (-5.5)-The Bengals beat the Browns on the road, but noone is buying into the hype. The consensus is split on this game, but the sharps are on the Bengals as they jumped this line early and moved it to 4.5 at a few places.

Sunday Night Football: Philadelphia Eagles (-1.5) over Atlanta Falcons—The Eagles looked like the dream team in this game and that caused 86% of the betting money to come in on the Eagles, causing the line to jump from 1 to 1.5. Smart players jumped on the Falcons at home early but due to that public action the line did not move.

This is the line report for week two, but make sure to check back for individual game previews, free picks, best bets, and the lock of the week!
