NFL Week 16 Best Bets Against the Spread One of the toughest things to do when narrowing down teams to wager on in the NFL, is finding some quality best bets. I have scoured the card for week 16 and will now unveil three of my best bets for the holiday week in the NFL.

Bengals vs. Cardinals

Is anyone paying attention to the Cardinals? The Kevin Kolb trade looks like a bust and their playoff chances are very slim, but they are playing great football. If they win outright and get a few losses by Atlanta and Detroit, they can still make the playoffs. John Skelton actually looks like an NFL caliber quarterback and he has a chemistry with his offense that is working.

The Bengals are scrambling to get to the playoffs, but their hopes are fading fast. AJ Green is banged up and will go up against Patrick Peterson. The Cardinals are 5-1 ATS in their last six games as an underdog and could easily pull off the upset, so when you look at the point-spread the Cardinals are a best bet in week 16.

Arizona +4.5

Minnesota vs. Washington

When did the Redskins become a 6.5 point favorite over anyone in the NFL? Granted the Vikings secondary is woeful and they could easily lose this game, but the Redskins are not that good of a team. In fact the Redskins are 8-22-3 ATS against a team with a losing record and 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite. How can anyone feel safe laying points with the Redskins and Rex Grossman? I will take the points and Adrian Peterson.

Vikings +6.5

Oakland vs. Kansas City

The Oakland Raiders are done. It amazed me that 60% of the betting public was on the silver and black. The Chiefs beat the Packers and are a different team with quarterback Kyle Orton running the show. The Raiders are 7-21-3 ATS in their last 31 games as an underdog of less than three points and they will still be suffering from a hangover after losing a last second game to the Lions a week ago.

The Chiefs still have an outside shot of making the playoffs and will easily eliminate the Raiders in week 16.

Kansas City -1

Good luck in week 16 in the NFL and may all of your bets, be best bets.
