Super Bowl XLVI Proposition Bets: Kelly Clarkson, Madonna and betting on the Halftime Show

The Super Bowl is still a week away, but the Proposition bets for the big game are already making big news.
Some of the more entertaining prop bets on the board surround the entertainment for the biggest game of the season. Here is a look at some of the available prop bets for the National Anthem and the Halftime show. I recommend only football props for betting, but for fun let's take a look at these props.
How long will it take Kelly Clarkson to sing the National Anthem?
Over/Under 1 minute 34 Seconds
From first note starts until she completes saying "Brave". All wagers have action, if she restarts for any reason, wager will start from restart.
Super Bowl Prop Prediction: This is going to be close, but Clarkson like many Divas likes to end with a bang so look for her to try and drag the last note out. I don’t think she has the pipes for this and would go under.

Clarkson is a native of Texas so it's highly doubtful that she will sport a jersey from either of the teams in the big game because she does not want any boos from the opposing fan base. The best bet in this case is to go with the odds-on favorite.

This has happened in the past and as recently as a year ago. When it does happen the feedback is brutal. Betting "yes" is a good payday, but look for Clarkson to have the words down and nail this.

Unless you have some connections in the Super Bowl wardrobe department this will be a toss-up, but have you seen Clarkson lately? She is still very pretty but has put on a few pounds. With that being said it is very unlikely that she will expose her belly.

The most talked about entertainment of the Super Bowl is the halftime. This year Madonna gets the nod as the safe choice to perform at halftime. A few years ago Madonna would be anything but safe for the show. Regardless here is a look at a few of the props for the halftime show.

Blonde seems like the perfect choice for Madonna since she is usually blonde, but taking a shot at any other color is not that risky of a bet considering her tendency to try and "wow" the crowd.

According to the odds this is a toss-up and a few years ago this would be a slam dunk "yes" but Madonna has grown up and is going for a different look lately. Go out on a ledge on this one and look for the material girl to skip the fishnets.

The odds are on "No" for this prop but anything can happen with Madonna. She was born in Michigan but has strong ties to New York and it would not surprise me if she embraces the experience with a football jersey. Halftime shows usually involve many wardrobe changes, so why not take a shot with a good payday.

These entertainment props are fun, but if you're going to bet seriously on the Super bowl, the football related props are the way to go. These props are pure speculation but make the national anthem and the halftime show more interesting to watch.
